Kelly and Andy came from Washington the summer of 2020 and still had a picture perfect wedding as planned. Andy chose his family vacation spot to propose to his future Bride. So of course they had to return for the wedding of their dreams.
They stayed at the Crown Plaza that sits on the beach high above the historic pier. It's walking distance to downtown, shops, breweries, and restaurants. Don't you love their matching shoes!
Grant Park is a special place for our community. Atop the foothills, you have a panoramic view of the entire Ventura coastline. It's stunning! On this hot and hazy day in August it was hard to see the Channel Islands, unfortunately.
From Grant Park they went back to the Crown Plaza for a beautiful dinner on the Lanai. Maybe with fewer guests then they hoped for. The summer of covid-19 meant no dancing allowed. But they are full of memories from the amazing day they got married in Ventura, California. We try to help couples dream up their perfect beach wedding. Ventura County has a lot to offer your destination wedding. Every couple is different that's why Beachside Memories is here to guide you though it all.
Karen and Cody came from Arizona to the coastal coolness of California to start their forever. The Mandalay Beach Hotel is located right on the sand in Oxnard which makes it a unique spot in the central coast area. That's why it's one of our favorite locations. The beach is quiet and beautiful too. Although Beachside Memories will include photography in it's complete package for the wedding ceremony, Karen and Cody opted to extend the contract to have Renae Smith Photography capture the entire day filled with special moments with family and friends.
The hotel was a perfect place for their first look. Sweet moments between them in a mirage like setting. Soon the whole wedding party would surround them with love. Good bye pre-wedding jitters.
We encourage personal touches to make your special day a reflection of your personality. Karen chose the Timeless Treasure Package with a soft pink and gray color pallet. It was a beautiful day.
,The Ventura Harbor Village is close by with many options for a patio dinning. Here at Margarita Villa the couple continued the celebration with their guests with a prearranged menu, dancing, and cake.
After a unique and special wedding with 50 of their favorite people Karen and Cody went on to Mexico for their Honeymoon. Beachside Memories loves love for every budget and every personality!
A beautiful cliff side beach wedding and reception location
Keith and Kristin are from Oklahoma. They came to Carpinteria, Ca. to blend their families together. They chose this location because they've spent many vacations surfing here. It was their special place.
This spot is perfect for a reception. We provided a cheese and beverage table with mini cupcakes. The family enjoyed the scenic views and a special time together.
We were so excited to find the perfect cake topper for this fun loving beach couple. Cake and Champagne table can be found under our extra services tab. All they had to do was step out of the car.

We make beach wedding planning easy for your destination wedding! We work hard to make sure all your wishes are cared for and your day is relaxed. Beachside Memories can be your one stop experience with just a phone call. Our packages include flowers, rentals, decor, on site coordination, music, officiant, photography, water station and permits. This is our favorite spot to have a reception on the beach. This location is close to The Cliff House Inn and The Shoals Restaurant. It's also 20 minutes to the North of Ventura and 10 minutes south of downtown Carpinteria.
As Audrey stepped out of the car, arriving with her Groom, I'll never forget what she said. "That's my package! I'm so excited to see it finally." It was her excitement expressed after all her planning from afar. On the computer, on the phone, over coffee and now seeing a decor package to match her personality and style. That is exactly what we at Beachside Memories hope to deliver to all our couples.
Audrey took such care to include her soon to be step-daughter in all aspects of her wedding. They did D.I.Y. projects together, the night before the wedding they had manicures and pedicures, and they wore matching sandals. Audrey shared her own special vows to her mini Bride's Maid. Her emotions had us all in tears. It was truly a special moment for all of us to witness. After the ceremony a special song from the movie Moana play for you know who.
And now they're a family. I just love the smiles on their faces!
For their reception they chose dinner for their guests at The Greek Steak and Seafood in the Ventura Marina. There they had a celebration to remember, with food and drinks, entertainment and fun.

They finally got the wedding of their dreams after 50 years of marriage! On April 7, 1967 Gwen and David Anderson were married on the front steps of the Ventura County City Hall in Ventura, California. It was a beautiful setting it just didn't have the personal memory that they longed for. No guests, no wedding dress, no flowers, no cake, and no pictures, just an exchange of precious words to promise a lifetime commitment.
You see David went off to war six days later and they were apart many years after that. He came home with war injuries but with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren they've lived a full life together.
What David thought was just a photography session in the park turned out to be a surprise from his Bride. Their vow renewal. Their Pastor performed a beautiful ceremony with his favorite hymns, communion, and a symbol of unity. It made us all tear up a bit.
And then we celebrated with cake!
Just because you never know about April showers we decided to have a little fun, but the sun shined bright on this beautiful couple. They showed so much love for one another. It was so sweet to watch!
